Overseas travel requirements for security-cleared staff
If you are a Defence security clearance holder, you must report all overseas travel, both business and personal, and be briefed before leaving and debriefed upon your return. Please read the below steps:
Before your travel
Complete these steps at least 4 weeks prior to your travel date, or as soon as possible if it is less than 4 weeks away
- Before your overseas trip, complete Sections 1 and 2 of the attached Overseas Travel Briefing and Debriefing form
- Submit the form to Penske Security Officers either by attaching it to a new ticket using this site, or email it to disp@penske.com.au
After your travel
Complete these steps after your return from overseas.
- Complete Section 4 of the document
- Attach the updated document to the existing travel ticket or email it to disp@penske.com.au
- You will be contacted by the Security Officer to conduct a debriefing prior to the Security Officer submitting the document to Defence (if required).
If you forgot to inform ahead of travel
- Complete sections 1,2 and 4 and submit via a ticket or email to disp@penske.com.au
